My areas of research interest are conservation, environmental health and socio-economics. I obtained a B.Agric.Tech in Agricultural Economics and Extension from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, an MSc in Environmental Resource Management from the Nasarawa State University, Keffi and a PhD in Environmental Management from Africa’s foremost Military University – The Nigeria Defence Academy, Kaduna. I also hold a certificate in “Science and Technology for Disaster Risk Management” and “Human Health for Global Environmental Change” both from the HarvadX online programme. The United States Institute of Peace has also tutored me in “Conflict Analysis” and “Conflict Management and Negotiation”
I was the Programme Coordinator of “Society for Life Improvement and Development” – an NGO with Environmental Audit, Assessment, Research and Medical Geography as its thematic areas. I am also the National President of the “Association of HIV/AIDS Counsellors and Testers in Nigeria”, a Facilitator and Supervisor with the department of Environmental Science and Management of the National Open University of Nigeria, Abuja.
I have over the years led teams of socio-economists for several EIA processes, led the team for the following jobs:
Also over the years I have been lead Resource Person (training) for reputable organisations like the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), UNICEF, WHO, Chevron Oil and Gas, ActionAid Nigeria and Education Tax Fund (ETF).
I am a member of Association of Nigerian Geographers (ANG), Institute of Chattered economists of Nigeria (ICEN) and Institute of Public Administration of Nigeria (IPAN).
