Mr Oke is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Management. He is a dynamic, innovative and result oriented personality. He aims at being an invaluable and outstanding asset to any organization through excellent technical, administrative and organizational support. Mr Oke obtained his Bachelor of Aquaculture and Fisheries Management from the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta in 2010 and his MSc. (Aquaculture and Fisheries Management) from the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike in 2014. He has a Diploma in Aquaculture and Fisheries Management from the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta and a Proficiency Certificate in Management from the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered). He is a Graduate member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), Professional member of Fisheries Society of Nigeria and a member of National Association of Fisheries Students (NAFIS-UNAAB). He is an expert in farm management, fingerling production, grow-out systems and general pond management. He worked as a Farm officer at Durante Fisheries Industry, Ibadan between 2008 and 2010. He also worked as a Fish Farm officer at the Centre for Human Resources Development (CENHURD), UNAAB Fisheries Division between 2004 and 2005. During his National Youth Service Corps Programme he worked at the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Management, MOUAU. Part of his research experiences involved testing the effect of fertilizers on early life stages and sperm motility parameters of Clarias gariepinus (2014), economic analysis of fish hatchery operations in Ogun State (2009), impacts of climate change on the aquatic ecosystem (2009). His current research area of interest is in Climate-SMART Aquaculture and Fisheries, environmentally sustainable aquaculture production, management and responsible fisheries. He has attended both national and international conferences and workshops among which are 30th Annual Conference of Fisheries Society of Nigeria, FISON, Asaba in 2015; 32nd Annual Conference of Fisheries Society of Nigeria, FISON, Anambra in 2017; International Seminar on Comprehensive Local Agricultural Plan, C-LAP in 2017, Workshop on African Youth Initiative on Climate Change, AYICC in 2017.
